My Summer Patio!
I am enjoying planting many flowers on my patio. I have not been able to plant much in the past few years, or decorate it, due to my illness. I am so happy I feel so good, and can garden again.

Thursday, July 8, 2010 What a wonderful day! July 8, 2010 Thursday, July 8, 2010 What a wonderful day! July 8, 2010 I am beginning to feel so good..that when my daughter,Erin comes for lunch..I make it, rather than she. We have a nice lunch together then off to work she goes..and I settle down to some serious sewing. I am making a raggedy annie from Raggedy rhondas pattern..she has so many wonderful patterns. Check her out when you can. I use her pattern for the body, and dress, and design the rest. this shall be a raggedy with those lovely wooly curly curls! I will embroider her facial features, and paint her shoes. She will be wearing a pretty strawberry dress, with at least two petticoats, and bloomers. I LOVE to make petticoats, they are so much fun for me..and the doll! Here is a pix of her beginning. I use kitty litter to make a hard bottom and it works really well for them to sit up..much better than rice I have found out, and a lot cheaper!

  1. Hi Sue <3
Your dollies are beautiful!!! I also use kitty litter to weigh my dolls and shelf sitters - and last year at the beach, I filled a gallon plastic bottle with sand to use as well.
I've never made a petticoat - are they easy?
